Carclin Tank Isosolve
Carclin Tank Isosolve is a highly alkaline and specialist isocyanate-based coating remover. This product is used in tank cleaning.
Carclin Tank Isosolve dissolves isocyanate coatings quickly and effectively. It allows you to completely remove residues of isocyanate. In addition, the product is suitable for the recirculation method.
Carclin Tank Isosolve is EDTA- and phosphate-free and is suitable for soft water.
Extra information
- Pre-treatment: Heat the inside of the tank with warm water until the contents become liquid. Use warm water at 40–50°C. Coarse material can already be loosened and removed using (air) pressure.
- Recirculation method: The product allows for recirculation, depending on the size of the unit, the degree of contamination and the quality of the pre-treatment. Spray the undiluted product onto the tank walls using spray nozzles. Allow the product to circulate at a constant temperature of 80°C. For TDI, the circulation time is approx. 3 hours. For MDI, the circulation time is approx. 4 to 5 hours. After the circulation period, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Manual cleaning: If necessary after recirculation, in case of persistent contamination. Spray the product thoroughly onto the tank walls. Rinse off with cold water under high pressure.
Please note: this product is not suitable for use on aluminium surfaces.
